St Petersburg, FL 33701-- Dancers4Cancer is the creation of Cheryl Altman. Both of Cheryl’s parents died from cancer within weeks of each other. She wanted to find a way to honor their lives, and began planning Dancers4Cancer. Her hope is to bring together 1000 dancers who will raise $25,000.00 for the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation. Cheryl is quoted, “Dancing was Mom’s passion and now my passion! I am having a blast following in her footsteps.”
The Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation provides services and financial assistance to families in need who are dealing with cancer. Their assistance can range from paying for a tank of gas to food, clothing, shelter and transportation. www.fcsfoundation.com.
The Mad Beach Band will fill the Coliseum with swinging rock n' roll and dancing, Sponsorships are available from $100 to $5,000 available currently. For sponsors it is the best to respond early to receive the most benefit from partnering with Dancers 4 Cancer and this celebration for a cause.
